Coach Mia (pictured right) began her swimming career with the Barracudas in 2008 and has been with us ever since. Mia swam year round for the Barracudas {Cudas} throughout both middle and high school and finished through her senior season for the Cudas in 2021. Coach Mia graduated as a swimmer from the Cudas but never left! In 2022 Coach Mia acted as an assistant coach for the Cudas and the following summer was promoted to head coach along with Coach Erin. She graduated from Russell Sage College with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and is currently working towards her masters degree- Sports Science: Coaching and Mental Performance. Coach Mia looks forward to another great season with the Cudas!
Coach Erin (pictured left with Coach Daniel center) is from Kerhonkson and has swam for the Barracudas since she was 8 years old. Erin fell in love with the sport and the team. She continued to swim for the Cudas until she was 18. In 2021 Coach Erin began to help out with the Cudas and by 2022 she was an assistant coach for the Cudas. The next year she moved into the head coaching role alongside Coach Mia.
After her time with the Cudas, Coach Erin went on to swim at SUNY Oneonta. At SUNY Oneonta she gathered an impressive athletic career. She graduated from SUNY Oneonta in May 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and a Minor in Athletic Coaching. She is now pursuing a Master in Sports Management from SUNY Cortland which she will complete in December 2024. She now remains at SUNY Oneonta as the Assistant Coach and Sprints Specialist Coach for the college’s swim and dive team. Coach Erin looks forward to another fun summer with the Cudas!
