Swim Meet 101
Swim Meets are a wonderful time for the team to come together, enjoy each others company and compete against other teams in our league. Below is information on some essentials to bring with you to swim meets and what to expect.
Before the meet:
- Please take the time to RSVP your swimmer for each meet he/she can attend. You can do this on our signup tab. Coaches will put in you in the events they'd like you to swim in.
- If sign up deadline is missed, coaches will input you in meet unless advised the athlete will not be able to attend.
- Note: It is the coaches final say on what events will be swam by the athlete. The coaches are open to events each swimmer would like to swim but they do need to balance the meet and ensure all athletes have equal opportunity.
- Relays will be decided by the coaches.
- If you will be away for any meets, please let the coaches know by your RSVP.
